Burnout symptoms in 42% of these physician women runners.
Median exercise time was 5-6 hrs/week.

Who had #burnout? Those who worked more hours & had more domestic responsibilities.

Do not offer more exercise as an answer to #burnout. You need to fix the system.

In the spirit of celebrating Civil Rights and, as Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King said, let’s prefer a “positive peace which is the presence of justice” over a “negative peace which is the absence of tension.”

The Black Mamas Matter Alliance advocates for research and policy changes in order to advance Black maternal healthcare. Their mission statement reads, “We envision a world where Black mamas have the rights, respect and resources to thrive before, during and after pregnancy.” We all know the statistics for both maternal and infant mortality in our very country, and how much better those numbers are when those Black infants are cared for by Black doctors - the problem is racism, not race.

Help us raise money on this MLK day for Black mamas and their babies, POWR! Contributions go directly to BMMA (through their chosen donations carrier, Mightycause) - no donation is too small!
